Curcumin, a widely utilized flavor and coloring agent in food, has been shown to demonstrate powerful antioxidant, antitumor promoting and anti-inflammatory properties in vitro and in vivo. In the present work, synthesis of new heterocyclic derivatives based on Curcumin was studied. Compound 3 was synthesized via the reaction of furochromone carbaldehyde (1) with Cited by: 6. called Name Reactions in Heterocyclic Chemistry has been given by Li [13] and the monograph Aromaticity in Heterocyclic Compounds [14] is also a good basic help for heterocyclic chemists, as is the Synthesis of Heterocycles via Multicomponent Reac-tions [15]. Other recent monographs have centered on synthetic techniques such as. Synthesis, Characterization and Biological studies of Novel Heterocyclic compounds Shah H. J.* 1 and Chaudhari J. A. 2 1K.K. This book discusses the structure, synthesis, and reactivity of heterocyclic compounds. It covers nomenclature, conformational aspects, aromatic stabilization and biological activity of heterocyclic compounds. The book also includes discussions of biochemical processes involving destruction of heterocyclic rings/5(3). The present necessity to use heat-resistant materials in electronics justified the scientific interest in different heterocyclic polymers. This paper is especially concerned with the preparation of novel heat-resistant materials having benzimidazole moieties in the main by:

This book differs from others on name reactions in organic chemistry by focusing on their mechanisms and biological applications like Anti Cancer, Anti HIV and antimicrobial and some more. It covers over number of classical as well as contemporary name reactions. Biographical sketches for the chemists who discovered or developed those name reactions have been . The second conference on organic chemistry “Advances in Heterocyclic Chemistry” - GeoHet will be held in the capital city of Georgia Tbilisi on September 2– , The Conference is sponsored by Rustaveli Science Foundation of Georgia (grant No. CF/21//11) and organized by Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, -File Size: 5MB. Heterocyclic Chemistry covers the fundamentals of heterocyclic reactivity and synthesis in a way that is understandable to second- and third-year undergraduate chemistry students. It also includes more advanced material, making the book appropriate for postgraduate taught courses and to researchers, either at postgraduate degree level or those /5(19). In particular, the vast majority of organic work done in the pharmaceutical and agrochemical industries is heterocyclic chemistry. This book has so closely matched the requirements of its readership over the years that it has become the first choice for chemists all over the world/5(16).
